Students engaged in fun, multi-sensory and interactive activities in the Gallery to build visual
literacy, respond to original works of art, and make personal connections.  Students used
the inquiry process to explore a variety of visual art forms from various cultures, explored different elements of design, and responded through discussion and personal connections. In addition, students exercised their imagination and problem-solving skills in response to looking at original works of art through creative play including looking games, movement and drama activities, and tactile materials.
