The students visit the Royal Ontario Museum twice a year.
In celebration of Chinese New Year in February, students visit the Gallery of Chinese Architecture at the Royal Ontario Museum. In a play-based guided tour, the students are encouraged to use their five senses; for example, they can smell the sweet scent of Chinese tea and view a reconstruction of a corner of a Chinese Imperial Palace building.
Students will also visit the ROM in August as part of the summer theme – Dinosaurs. They will learn more about these majestic creatures and life during the Jurassic and Cretaceous periods.
